Enneagram Part 2

Here are some examples of the type of thing we can cover...

Social style;  A way of understanding temperament.  We’ll explore the Assertive, Compliant and Withdrawn types on the Enneagram and the general patterns that apply as well as how each type is unique.  This gives a 'short-hand' access to certain dynamic personality traits which are relevant to how each of us gets our needs met in life.  This pattern has a big influence in the way we work/relate and function and could be a powerful shortcut to accessing these characteristics as part of your craft.

The Instincts:  This is a deeply embodied inquiry about the powerful, and largely unconscious, libidinal engine that ‘drives' our personality.  We'll explore the self-preservation, sexual, and social instincts and how they show up in our lives.  We’ll learn which instinct is dominant for us and which instinct is our blind spot.  We’ll learn how to apply that knowledge for our rapidly accelerated personal/spiritual growth. This work also has the power to dramatically and profoundly deepen our relationships.

We could look at the imbalance of the 3 centres.  This is the whole underpinning of our types patterning and looks at what is actually happening when we drop down the levels.  It shows how each type’s patterns  are  the result of the systematic misuse of the centres. We'll also learn practices specific to each type that hold the key for greater balance and deeper faster development - this work combined with the instincts and applied consistently is the quickest and surest route to shifting the level of our station..

“Gestalt Enneagram work’ :-  We could look at using physical space to deepen access to the insights that different points on the enneagram hold for us.  This is a powerful tool for working with specific issues but also a rapid way of deepening understanding and access to aspects of the ‘colours/points’ of the Enneagram in yourself and for your craft. The group who've just left worked with this but last years group did not.

We could also do some of the embodied Mudra work and explore conflicts and relationships.

All this would be held in Presence, deepened by inquiry, music, and movement.
