Rae is our producer at Both Feet. She works with Steph on the day to day running with a focus on marketing and funding.

Rae trained with Both Feet in 2021 and is hugely passionate about the work and the positive changes it will make to the industry!

About Rae
Rae Bell is the Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Close to Home Productions, writer and producer. She is an associate artist at Culture Warrington and trained at ALRA North (BA Acting 2020).
​
Rae works regularly with devised work and new writing, and has a passion for creating highly comedic work about sensitive subjects.

Writing credits include:
Identities; A play about boobs A piece inspired by her personal experience of breast cancer and Rae’s debut as a writer. Identities received 3 rounds of Arts Council Funding and multiple 5* reviews, performing at the following venues: Northern Stage, Derby Theatre, Nottingham Playhouse, Theatre By The Lake, Pyramid Arts Centre, Riverside Studios, Theatre Deli Sheffield, Hull Truck and Shakespeare North Playhouse. As well as a full community tour.

The Invisible Dog A piece commissioned by Haringey Shed and Our Time charity that toured primary schools in North London. The piece informed younger audiences of the challenges of mental health in adults.
