Stepping away from social media

It's time to step away from social media, I can feel it in my bones.
As of May 2026, I’ll be stepping away from social media, that includes me (director, maker, coach, facilitator), Both Feet and Bod.
We are all still very much here, connecting, sharing, experiencing, just no more social feeds.
.

It’s something I’ve been dancing with for a while.
I spend a lot of my time encouraging actors to come home to themselves.
To trust what’s real.
To stop performing and start living.
To build careers that aren’t dependent on external approval and validation.
And I’ve realised that I need to hold myself to the same standard.
I don’t know about you but I am tired.
The constant noise.
The pressure to keep showing up in The Feeds.
To document moments instead of being in them.
To shape things for algorithms rather than letting them be what they are.
And more recently, the growing presence of AI-generated content has left me feeling more angry, frustrated and heartbroken.
What was a space that helped me stay connected to you and inspired is now doing the opposite.
Recently, watching Our Town at Theatr Clwyd, I was reminded of something simple and quite devastating:
the living aren’t living.
It gut punched me.
Because I don’t want to miss my life whilst trying to capture it.
I want to be in the room.
To be breathing.
In conversation.
In the landscape.
In my family.
I want to be living.
Both Feet has never been built on algorithms.
It’s been built on people.
On trust.
On word of mouth.
On actors bringing other actors because something really fucking real and raw and human happened here.
That doesn’t change.
But what will change is where you’ll find things.
The mailing list is now the main place to stay connected.
That’s where I’ll share upcoming retreats, opportunities and anything worth knowing.
I’ll also be using YouTube as a simple archive of the work - moments from training, retreats and reflections. Not driven by schedules or strategies, but shared when there’s something beautiful and honest to share.
Our social media pages will still be there, just not active in the way they have been.
If you’re part of the work and want to share something, you’re still very welcome to tag us as it will still help others to find their way here too.
I’ll be honest, I’m shitting myself.
Who are we without it?! Can a small business even survive without it?!
But I have to trust that leaving it and showing up in the real world is going to be far better for my heart and my body and the rest will follow.
If you’d like to stay connected, you can join the mailing list here:
And if you’d like to see the work, you’ll find it here:
See you in the room? Or at a show? Or for a bite to eat?
Let’s do that heart to heart genuine connection thing.
