Rc-Annie and Both Feet have always believed that in order to work at our best, we need to look after one another. Together we have designed a powerful retreat that will stay with you for your lifetime.

We'll balance BADC Stage Combat Training with contemplative practices such as yoga, breath work, meditation and nature based activities. This is a unique opportunity to learn or refine your skills whilst offering yourself time and space to reconnect with yourself and nature, in the glorious Welsh countryside.

Who its for?
This retreat is for 12 (max) open and committed actors, directors, makers, creators wanting to gain accreditation and confidence in stage combat whilst also expanding themselves and their craft.
If you're new to Rae at Rc-Annie or Steph at Both Feet please book a short Zoom intro with Steph before booking. Group dynamics are integral to the safety of the retreats, especially long ones like this one so it's important we get a feel for each other first.

You'll be staying in our custom built
studio and retreat nestled in the rolling Welsh countryside. It comes with a purpose built studio with under floor heating overlooking the Welsh hills, living room, kitchen, balcony, ensuite bunk rooms, balcony and stone courtyard.
Getting here is easier than you think. You can drive or we can help with car sharing / collection from Chester/Ruabon if someone's not passing your route. And the T10 bus stops right outside our door!
Your Instructors
This course is lead by Rc-Annie Ltd the UK’s premiere dramatic violence company and Stephanie Morgan of Both Feet. Rc-Annie was established in 2005 by Fight and Intimacy Directors/ Coordinators Rachel Bown-Williams and Ruth Cooper-Brown.
