This Agreement outlines your responsibilities, our responsibilities, and the framework that keeps our work safe, grounded and held with integrity.
By attending any training, coaching, retreat or session with Both Feet Actor Training, you agree to the terms below.

This document works alongside:

  • Both Feet Terms & Conditions

  • Both Feet Safe Space Policy

1. Purpose of This Agreement

The purpose of this Agreement is to establish clear expectations around:

  • personal responsibility

  • emotional and physical safety

  • medical suitability

  • outdoor activity risks

  • coaching boundaries

  • confidentiality and consent

  • data protection

This is not a replacement for the Terms & Conditions.
Instead, it complements them so that your experience is safe, grounded and held.

2. Coaching & Training Disclaimer

2.1 I understand that all coaching and training provided by Both Feet Actor Training is not therapy, not medical treatment, and not a replacement for clinical, psychological or psychiatric support.

2.2 I understand that while the work may be emotional, somatic, embodied or triggering at times, it remains training, not therapy.

2.3 I participate voluntarily, at my own discretion, and can choose to step out at any time.

2.4 If I experience emotional, psychological or physical discomfort, I will pause, communicate with the practitioner, and take responsibility for my wellbeing.

2.5 I confirm that I have stated all relevant medical, mental health or trauma history honestly to the best of my knowledge.

2.6 I agree to update Both Feet if my medical or psychological circumstances change before or during the training.

2.7 I acknowledge that the Coach/practitioner may pause or discontinue my participation if they believe the work is not suitable for me.

3. Physical Participation & Movement

3.1 Training may involve:

  • movement work

  • somatic exercises

  • partner exercises

  • breathwork

  • repetition work

  • embodied improvisation

  • extended training days

3.2 I am responsible for monitoring my own body and choosing my level of participation.

3.3 I will disclose injuries, chronic conditions or limitations before training begins.

3.4 I understand that participation carries inherent physical risk and I accept full responsibility for my choices.

3.5 I understand I may opt out of any exercise without explanation.

4. Outdoor, Nature-Based & Off-Site Activities

4.1 Some retreat or training elements take place outdoors, including:

  • gentle wellbeing walks

  • time in nature

  • being on the moors

  • simple fireside meals

  • optional cold-water dips

4.2 I understand that Stephanie Morgan / Both Feet / Bodlondeb Studio & Retreat is not an outdoor instructor, mountain guide, adventure sports provider, or open-water swim coach.

4.3 All outdoor elements are optional, voluntary, and undertaken at my own risk.

4.4 I am fully responsible for:

  • assessing my own ability in the moment

  • wearing suitable footwear and clothing

  • hydration and self-care

  • knowing my limits

  • choosing whether or not to participate

4.5 When activities are delivered by qualified third-party providers (e.g. hikes with guides, SUP sessions, Bearded Men Adventures, activities at The Forge), these are fully insured by that provider, who is responsible for delivery and safety.

4.6 Both Feet/Bodlondeb is not liable for injuries, accidents or incidents related to participation in any optional outdoor activities.

5. Emotional Wellbeing & Psychological Responsibility

5.1 The work can be emotional or activating at times. This is part of embodied, truthful actor training and retreat work.

5.2 I am responsible for my emotional regulation, boundaries and self-care.

5.3 I will seek therapeutic or clinical support if deeper material arises that requires it.

5.4 I will communicate with staff if I feel unsafe, overwhelmed or unsure.

5.5 I understand that vulnerability, honesty and openness are encouraged - but always within my own limits.

6. Confidentiality & Group Respect

6.1 I agree to honour the confidentiality of others’ experiences.

6.2 I will not share personal stories, emotional moments or private disclosures from the training outside the space.

6.3 I understand that breaches of confidentiality may result in removal from the course.

(Full behavioural expectations are covered in the Safe Space Policy, to which I have already agreed.)

7. Photography & Recording

7.1 Both Feet may capture photographs to document the work.
If I prefer not to be photographed, I will notify Both Feet in writing before the course begins.

7.2 I will not record, film or share sessions, exercises, staff or participants without explicit consent.

7.3 I will not share images, videos or content of others online without explicit consent.

8. Data Protection (GDPR)

8.1 I consent to Both Feet / Bodlondeb storing and processing my personal data securely for purposes of:

  • delivering training
    communicating essential information

  • safeguarding

  • record-keeping

  • emergency contact

  • legal obligations

8.2 My information will not be shared with third parties except where legally required or relevant to my safety.

8.3 I may request to view, update or delete my data at any time, subject to legal requirements.

9. Alcohol & Substances

9.1 Bodlondeb is a dry space. We hold this boundary to keep the work safe, clear and connected.

9.2 If you choose to have a drink with your dinner off-site, that’s no problem at all - we simply ask that you return sober and steady.
9.3 Alcohol on site, drinking in the space, or returning intoxicated isn’t appropriate for the work we do here and may result in being asked to sit out or leave the retreat.

10. Ethical Use of the Work

10.1 Personal Learning - The work explored on this retreat is offered for your personal development. You may naturally feel inspired by what you experience here, but this retreat is not a practitioner training.

10.2 Professional Boundaries - Participants who also work professionally as directors, teachers, therapists, coaches or facilitators agree to attend in their personal capacity, not in a professional role.

10.3 Use in Other Spaces - You agree that if elements of this work influence your own practice in the future, you will:

  • only use processes you feel genuinely skilled, trained and resourced to hold safely

  • avoid using or adapting material that you do not yet fully understand or cannot facilitate competently

  • refrain from representing this work as “Both Feet training”, “Steph’s method”, or implying endorsement or qualification without explicit written agreement

10.4 Duty of Care - These boundaries exist to protect your participants, the integrity of the work, and the safety of the spaces you may lead.

11. Agreement

By signing digitally or physically, I confirm that:

  • I understand this Agreement

  • I have been honest in my disclosures

  • I take full responsibility for my physical, mental and emotional wellbeing

  • I agree to participate voluntarily

  • I accept the risks involved in both studio-based and optional outdoor activities
