The Showreel Retreat
What is a showreel retreat?
Showreels are often your introduction to agents, casting directors and directors, you need them to share what you can do. A common problem a lot of actors face is that the footage on their showreels doesn't fully reflect their range or casting bracket. We've tackled that problem for you by creating a tailored showreel retreat. This retreat is designed to allow you to show your true range.
We've teamed up with filming professionals (specialist camera operator, director of photography / Lighting cameraman and drone pilot) to give you a professionally lit, two camera experience, your other retreat attendees act as scene partners meaning you get a full diverse cast of experienced actors and we can film inside and out utilising multiple locations: pubs, homes, countryside locations and more to give you high quality scenes to seamlessly blend in with the rest of your reel. You also have a director and coach to give you objective and honest feedback and support in the development and blocking of your scenes.
Together we capture scenes that you just can't get alone.
How it works...

A simple breakdown of the days in North Wales...
Pre arrival: We'll meet 1-2 times on Zoom to explore casting brackets, get ahead of the process so we can get costumes together etc and decide on locations in advance.
Arrival evening: Set up the space and start connected
We'll explore the format, co-create your scenes ready for filming by playing, exploring and developing your circumstances and characters both in and out of the studio so they're rich and deep in your body.
Day to move slower, rest, walk, do location reccys and any further prep we need.
Sound / camera checks with further scene development + on location filming.
